Who is Red Galoshes?
Red Galoshes is a network of online merchants, each with its own web site. Our merchants offer jewelry, unique gifts, favors, and distinctive women's and men's fashions in a easy-to-use shopping environment.
What is the Red Galoshes Affiliate Program?
The Red Galoshes Affiliate Program is a unique opportunity for you to earn commissions by placing banner ads, links, and full text articles on your site that link to our merchants.
How does it work?
The first step is to apply to become an affiliate. Once we determine that your site is a good match for our program, you place creatives like links and banner ads on your site. When visitors to your site click on the creatives, they are taken to our merchant stores. If they make a purchase at any of the merchants, it is credited to your account, and you will receive a commission. It's that easy!
How much can I earn?
Few affiliate programs offer commissions like we do. Red Galoshes pays a solid 10% commission every time you refer a customer who makes a purchase. Even if a customer clicks from your site through to one merchant, but ultimately makes a purchase from another within the network, you still make a full 10% commission. And unlike other affiliate programs that only pay on the first sale, we pay a 10% commission every time that visitor places a subsequent order.
How are commissions paid?
Commissions are paid monthly by Red Galoshes for amounts of $10 or more earned during the month. If the minimum of $10 is not reached in any given month, commissions will accrue until you reach $10. Commissions are paid on net sales, and do not include returns, sales tax or shipping and handling. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes on any commissions you receive from Red Galoshes.
How will I know about sales from referrals through my link?
As a Red Galoshes affiliate, you will receive a user name and password that allows you complete access to real-time reports that detail your views, clicks, sales and earnings. You can check it any time you want.
What's a creative?
Creatives are links, banners, articles, and other materials that we provide to help you promote our merchants. Choose the ones that you think will appeal to your visitors the most, then copy the pre-made code and place it on your site.
Does Red Galoshes also provide articles for my site?
Yes. We know many of you are looking to enhance your site with well written, useful articles on a variety of subjects. As an affiliate, you'll have access to our library of professionally researched and written articles. The articles provide content for your readers, while the product placements give you an opportunity to earn commissions on the sales they generate.
How often can I change the creatives?
It's up to you. We encourage you to change the links and ads often. This keeps your site and message fresh and new for visitors. You can post as many links as you want on your site. Use your judgment and understanding of your visitors' preferences to place the links where they will maximize referrals, and your commissions.
What if the creatives don't work on my site?
We do require that you use the creatives that we supply without altering them in any way. If you need additional banner sizes or graphics, or if the creatives are not working correctly, just let us know and we'll take care of it.
Is my site eligible to become an affiliate?
While there is no cost to become an affiliate, we do review each application carefully. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time for any reason. The sites that will have the most success as affiliates are those whose area of interest and presentation target the same audience as Red Galoshes. Can I be an affiliate if my site is not-for-profit?
Absolutely. We welcome not-for-profit sites. This is an excellent way to introduce your visitors to great shopping while your commissions go to further your cause. Your members have an added incentive to shop through your site if they know part of their payment will go to support their favorite nonprofit organization.
How do I get started?
Please read the affiliate agreement, then complete and submit the affiliate application. We will notify you within 48 business hours regarding our evaluation and approval of your site. Once you are approved, we will send information on how to obtain the graphic materials available to you. Just place the links and ads on your site and you're on your way, referring customers and earning commissions.
